Therapy is helpful, interesting, emotional, and connected.  Although it can be hard, therapy doesn't have to be painful. Connection with others not only feels good but is one of the basic tenets of psychotherapy. Therapy can help you find out more about yourself which in turn helps you live the life you want to lead. All you have to do is come in and tell the truth about you.

As a practicing psychologist with 20 years of experience, I can help you learn the skills you need to feel better. I treat adults, adolescents, and couples. I specialize in mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety.  I can help people struggling with body image and emotional eating.  I have years of experience treating partners of people struggling with addiction, as well as chemical dependency concerns. I also have the unique experience of treating partners of first responders.

If you are feeling vulnerable, depressed, anxious or stressed, therapy can help. I know how difficult it can be to ask for the help you want or need. That's why my goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel free to discuss whatever is on your mind. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that works for you so that you feel happier and more productive.
